Frances Goodman
Miss Goodman has been practising criminal law and a leading light in the West London area for more years than she cares to remember. In 2019 she received congratulations from the President of the Law Society on becoming the proud holder of 50 practising certificates, a feat that few solicitors achieve.
For many years Frankie was the sole principal of Goodman & Co. and she has a wealth of experience in all areas of criminal law. More recently she wound down Goodman & Co. and established links with Lansbury Worthington as a freelance consultant and duty solicitor. She is a fearsome and fearless advocate.
2012 was a momentous year for Frankie. First of all in May, the Law Society honoured her as an “Unsung Hero” (or Heroine). This was in recognition of all her hard work and dedication over almost four decades as a solicitor in Shepherds Bush, in practice as sole principal of Goodman & Co, and now in Hammersmith, as a consultant with Lansbury Worthington, serving both her local community and the profession. This award received coverage in both the local and legal press.
Then in November, she was given life membership of the London Criminal Courts Solicitors’ Association for her contribution to the Association and the profession as a whole. A signal honour highlighting the esteem in which she is held by her fellow professionals.
Frankie Goodman is a Past President of the West London Law Society and was a member of the Regional Duty Solicitor Committee before it was disbanded.
Having stood down from the demands of being a duty solicitor, Frankie continues to represent her own clients and those recommended to her, with the same commitment she has had throughout her career.
